The story of hut^flex
If you want something done right, do it yourself.
For over 20 years, we've been organizing parties and raves. In 2013, we attended Burning Man and discovered the perfect solution for covering a dance floor: a stretch tent. It protected us from the sun and sandstorms, and we knew we had to bring this innovation to Ukraine.Unfortunately, the original tents from South Africa were expensive, so we started experimenting with materials and shapes. After a few years, we finally found the ideal technical stretch fabric. It was heavy, waterproof, rubberized, and fire retardant. However, the material was so heavy that we couldn't find a company to sew it. We finally convinced a sailmaker to sew it for us, but they declined a second order. So, we had to start our production.Today, we proudly say we can sew up to 1,500 m2 (16,000 sq feet) of stretch tents monthly.
